To make you smile

In case you need some humour to lessen the weight of the news, here is a  blogpost by a  french knitter on the blog "Délit Maille", it's about the one-who-must-not-be-named. She made a success in France during the presidential election five years ago, knitting all the candidates and commenting with a fine humour.

And to stay on a light note , here are two small paintings , the kind i do when i need to lighten  my mood. I create small worlds where kindness and friendship between all  creatures are the rules, "I have a dream..."

And i am on for an evening with Harry Potter movies. It 's always good to see the villains defeated!
May you be peaceful.

  1. Such sweet little paintings! I too wish for a world where "the lion lays down with the lamb" and the cat has tea with the mouse. And I, too, have been intending to get back to my watercolours, tomorrow hopefully. Peace.

    1. Every means to maintain the vision of a better world alive is good. I know it is not much but i will go on sharing , the ocean is made of millions of tiny drops. Have a good time with your watercolors my dear!

  2. I think painting your dream like this is very therapeutic. I see many suffering artists right now doing this, and we must keep creating-it will manifest in other things i believe

    1. You are right Katherine, it helps lessening anxiety and when i paint this type of naive drawings, i forget for a while that more often than not, i feel useless to help the people i care about.Take care my friend, i am with you more than i could say.

  3. Jeanne-Sylvie. Thanks for such sweetness. You had left a comment on my blog saying that you would like to join in my ARTifacts project. If you would still like to, can you email me at shap97@gmail.com so I can add your name to my email list and send you project updates? Thanks, Seth
